Simon Cameron is a basketmaker and his business; Whites Farm Baskets was established back in the 1980’s. Using English Somerset-grown willow, Simon creates strong, practical baskets which are suitable for a multitude of uses…..from castle-sized log baskets to small fruit/bread baskets.
He uses traditional basket making methods and works in his home studio based on the Gloucestershire/Herefordshire border.
Simon’s work has been featured in the Country Living magazine, given as a gift to the late Queen Mother and has also appeared in a few movies.
Simon sells his baskets from his home, from various retail outlets and shows with the Herefordshire Guild of Craftsmen and can also be seen on Instagram.
