Antony Halls presenting his replica of Weston’s Cider Hereford bull Ronaldo to Three Counties Show President, Helen Thomas (Weston’s Cider MD)

As we reach the half way point of year we reflect on a very busy time for the Guild!
Our calendar of events has been a little like being on tour….
After a gentle waking up to show season with our Easter show at Ledbury Market House, we headed to the RHS Malvern Spring Festival – always a highlight for us to showcase our work and skills. We quickly regrouped and headed back to studios and workshops to prepare for our first pop-up gallery on the main Hay Festival site! We were so thrilled to be offered this opportunity and it didn’t disappoint. Long busy days but a lot of fun and wonderful customers. A week later, we were back in Malvern for the Royal Three Counties Show. A special year for the Guild, as it marked the 65th year of our involvement of this show. To mark this on behalf of the Guild, Antony Halls created a replica of the well-known Hereford bull ‘Ronaldo’, owned by Weston’s Cider. Their MD Helen Thomas is Show president this year, so a presentation was arranged to mark this occasion. Next stop on our tour is the prestigious Three Choirs Festival at Gloucester Cathedral. You’ll find us in large Marquee on the Cathedral green, together with members of Cotswold Craftsmen
