Spring is around the corner...
Spring and better times are coming at last! Following the disappointing but not unexpected news that the fabulous RHS Malvern Spring Festival has been cancelled again this year, we have just had confirmation that Hay Festival will go ahead but in digital format again this year. We continue to support this hugely popular event virtually and aim to be back on the Festival site in 2022. We’ve also just had some good news that the Three Choirs Festival will go ahead at Worcester Cathedral in July – we’ll be there with a marquee filled with wonderful creations on sale with all the necessary Covid safety in place. We’re all so looking forward to being let out again!
2020 was certainly a year like no other for us all, across the world. We have all faced many challenges and here in the Guild, for the first time ever, we had all of our events and shows cancelled for the entire year. Like many people, we have all suffered severe loss of income as we rely on these events to connect with the our public audience and make those all important sales.
We’re all continuing to design and produce wonderful unique handmade items and hopeful that we’ll be able to take part in live events later this year. For now, we would be delighted to supply you for those special birthdays, anniversaries and treats, so please do contact any of our brilliant members direct. Many of our members have their own websites or online galleries where you can purchase direct; for others you will find all of their contact details on this website. So please enjoy browsing through our website and hope that you’ll find plenty of inspiration for your gifts.
Our members are a super talented collective of artists and craftsmen producing everything and anything from fine jewellery to large oak dressers. We have art, ceramics, textiles, ornate turned wood, jewellery, stained glass, leathergoods and so much more….
We look forward to hearing from you and so hope that we can see you all later this year as we all move towards a new kind of normal.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far through these strange and difficult, and often lonely times. Please check our Events page regularly for updates on this year’s shows and events.
Keep safe and well and we look forward to seeing you soon!
